On 19 April 2006, inspired by the vision of two young lawyers to establish a law firm that can provide excellent legal service with superior results, the Divina & Uy Law Offices was founded in Makati City, Philippines.  Nilo T. Divina, an accomplished and brilliant corporate lawyer, and Edwin C. Uy, a seasoned lawyer-bureaucrat, joined forces together with around nine other lawyers of various expertise in different fields of law in establishing the most multi-faceted and dynamic law firm in the country.

Equipped with diverse legal minds as well as state-of-the-art technology, Divina & Uy Law Offices quickly found its niche in the Philippine legal profession.  Having the legal expertise in Corporate Take-over, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Rehabilitation, Intra-Corporate Controversy, Banking and Finance, Joint Ventures, Formation of Business Entities, Corporate Re-Organization, Debt and Equity Restructuring and Litigation, Divina & Uy Law Offices rapidly gained the trust and recognition of its countless clients, both local and foreign.

In 2008, after barely two years from its inauguration, Divina & Uy Law Offices has already metamorphosed into a law firm to reckon with.  With the meteoric growth of its clientele, it expanded its office space in the Pacific Star Building in Makati City, Philippines, and beefed-up its pool of legal talents increasing the number of its lawyers to twenty one.  This has enabled the firm to serve its clients promptly and efficiently with its unique brand of dedication and excellence.

On the 26th of September 2008, Divina & Uy Law Offices celebrated another milestone. Together with colleagues, friends, clients and guests, Divina and Uy Law Offices formally inaugurated its state-of-the-art and contemporary Expanded Office and launched the firm’s official website.  Indeed, its founders' vision is already being realized—to be the country's law firm of choice, with the knowledge, competence and power to provide excellent legal services and deliver superior results to its clients.  A truly remarkable feat indeed.
